which one? two planning to get amd athlonx2 4600, and the intel core duo 2 (2.00)
AMDamd or intel????
This could cause problems lol.I'd say Intel.
Use amd 4600+ its clocked at 2.4Ghz which is (if u run Ati readiness test) whill showup as 6.9Ghz, and i dont know why but its nice, plus the temperatures are coolp.s. i JUST figured out how to overclock it, and my 4600+ runs at 3.0Ghz with 2 more degreesand no ADDITIONAL cooler
Whichever one's cheaper.
Intel, by far.

Intel. They lead the race (today).
Intel
Intel is the better of the CPUs right now. AMDs new lineup will be as good or better when released. Althought Intel has a counter to that, called Penryn. Penryn requires a P35 board. MSI, Gigabyte I know have them. The Gigabyte GS965p DS3R looks like a great board and its in early release too, yet it can get up to around 450-475fsb on overclocks.
What do you like more? Apples or Oranges? lol I say go with whatever your use to using.
Intel
