Any downsides to hooking up to a 32' ...

hey, for my next pc in the near future i am thinking bout hooking it up to a 32 inch hd lcd tv, through dvi ofcourse.is there any reason i shouldnt? how would it be for gameing n general use? if there are noticable disadvantages of doing this, may i ask what are they and if u know, why do they occur?thxAny downsides to hooking up to a 32' ...
There isn't really a reason that you shouldnt, but you might not get as high of a resolution as you would want for the size, and you will need a strong GPU. But it would look fine i imagine.Any downsides to hooking up to a 32' ...
It should be fine as long as you don't sit too close to the monitor, because then you'll see more jaggies than you're probably used to.
Hey sorry to steal your thread here, but I got a 32 inch HDTV too, it only displays a res of 1360 by 768 or something, all HDTV's that I saw that size only display that res, though I don't hook it up through DVI, I hook it up through the other port. If I hook up my PC through DVI will the res be higher or the same?
nope no problem hookin up a 32 inch but always find 1 with the lowest Response time cos if ur planin to use a pc on it as such that u will come across ghostin which u might end up shooting at a person that is not there
The resolution on most new smaller LCD's is mostly 1366x768. If you go for like a 46'' or so, it will be 1920x1080. I personally wouldn't want 1366x768 resolution on 32 inches of TV when I can have 1680x1050 on a 19 inch LCD monitor.
