avi to dvd player

ive got some avi videos that i want to compile to a dvd and play them back on my dvd player, what would be the best way to do that. avi to dvd player
No way! I wanted to do the same a while back and it took too long. I forgot what program i used but i found it at videohelp.com. It's easier to go out and buy a DivX compatible DVD player for about $40 trust me. Burn it as a data CD/DVD and your good to go. Just don't lend it to people, they got mad at me when i said it wouldn't play in their DVD player.avi to dvd player
I agree, best way is to get a DivX compatible player... but if you want to convert something, so someone without a DivX player can see it, there are tons of programs that will do it. I use Roxio. Any verion since 6 or so should do it.Note: You can fit half a season of most one hour TV series on a single layer DVD in DivX format.
You can also use Nero.
Agree that a DivX player is much more better and convenient. However, the best program I've used for AVI to DVD is WinAVI - I converted a 3 hour movie within 30 mintues (on my slow 1.5Ghz Celeron laptop) and my computer didn't even lag. Give it a try.
