help:? I was going to purchase the samsung 206bw 20'' 2ms 1680x10 monitor. :D I read some reviews and am keen to understand what the above mentioned are in the topic title. Some people say: ''i realised it was the s panel......'' and they continued to portray their distain.Should i be overly worried about this aspect, or should i just buy the monitor and shut up. It was something regarding the response times i believe. The guy said the S panel gave him 5ms response, and he thought he had the other panel one which was advertised at 2ms. :?ermmm.....help?what is an ''s panel'' and ' ...
Well, I know all the panels are TN film, so it makes little difference between them.
The only thing I can tell you for sure, from my quick research, is that the different panel types, S, A, W and M, is that they are from different manufacturers.S = Samsung (little to no chance of getting one)
A = AUOptronics (seems a few had these, but samsung dropped them)
W = Chunghwa PT (Same panel used in LG 204WT %26 Samsung 205BW)
M = ?Mongrel? (Who knows)
