When is the best time for me to upgrade my graphics card. I'm planning on buying a GeForce 8800 GPU but I dont know if I should wait for a price drop, wait for a new GPU from NVIDIA or just buy the graphics card. When is the best time?

Did you notice that the Ultra already had a price cut and everything else stayed the same?
I have said this before and I guess I need to say it again, there is no reason for Nvidia to drop it's prices on the 8800 line and for AMD to drop the price on the 2900XT.
Its obvious that x2600 will be cheeper than 8600 and x2900Xt is more expensive than 8800GTS at ~same performance. This is whythe price for 8600 will dropp and for x2900XT too, because X2900XT is not seeling too well.8800Ultra is already cheeper with 80$
