I was mainly lokking for a headphone with a mic built in but thanks. Still, isnt thier problems with vista and sounblasters?
Yes. For one, EAX will not work as the sound stack or whatever its called in Vista was rewritten to make it more stable and reliable. Creative created a workaround for this, though, but it only works for a couple of games. It's called Alchemy. Another caveat is that Creative's Vista drivers, at the moment, are pretty ****ty. They're making progress, but at a very slow pace. How slow? Well, a third-party from China was able to make better drivers than the manufacturer of the soundcard. I believe they're called YOU-PAX. I've used my Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic in Vista and the sound quality was noticeably worse when compared to XP. Also, I encountered some audio bugs in games like Supreme Commander where sounds are fuzzy and crackle.
