on-the-fly sensitivity for the sniper in you.i know that apparently im getting ripped off blind with these prices (but these are from the actual makers of the stuff) im gonna make a few changes: get a E6600 instead of the E6300 and ill probably scrap the mouse and put it towards a gpu. at the moment iys between a 8800gtx or radeon hd 2900 xtx. however this will probably cause me to change the psu and case. my mobo has 2xPCI-E x16 slots (i think) so the gpu will take up 2 spaces therefore disabling the 2nd slot (am i right?). the reason i have the xt on there is because some people say that thereisntmuch diff between the 2 (according to benchmarks).so on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) what is this rated?hmmm is this a good pc for gaming?
ever hear of newegg? and for the love of God get a name brand monitor. not some no name piece of $hit.

so wait are you from Australia or what does AU stand for? I dont know what you guys pay for computer parts so I guess only Australians can help you.

2nd Edit; after rereading what I said I think I am beginning to sound like an @$$ hole so.... ya. I am not trying to sound mean ;)hmmm is this a good pc for gaming?
About a 10 (in terms of power and gaming performance). Although I would pick up a slightly better PSU if you plan on running an 8800 gtx (or 2). You can also get much better RAM for a lot less.

Do you now notice the .au after all those websites? He is in AUS....

that would make sense, lol. I usually dont read the end of every URL I just skip most them. but back on topic, are there any newegg like sites for Australians?
i though chimei is good...i dont think there are....well i actually have no idea -_-
hmmm does the 8800gts use up the same power as the x1950? i got all this out of a magazine so i can be sure that whats listed will work. also, does the 8800gts work with this mobo?
yeah, it will work on any PCI-E mobo
Go witht he 8800GTX.
and the psu? im not gonna be using sli...i assume by the votes that the 8800 is a better card...
hey ahmedkandil i live in australia too and there is a great website www.whirlpool.net.au then go 'forums' then 'pc hardware'. Post there if you want because your prices seem really high. those speakers are only about $70 from where i looked. There's a great search engine www.staticice.comwhich will search different sites and find the lowest price in australia. Also i searched the e6300 and you can getan e6600 for $298. Just thought i'd tell you. :)
hey i'm from australia, and get a better psu, and get 8800gtxif u spend about 1.8k u can get a e6600, 965p ds3, 2 gig ddr2 corsair 800mhz ram, 320 gig harddrive, and a 8800gtxthen u will need to buy the extras like monitor and mouse etc,,but a pc, just the tower with those specs should cost you about 1000 australian dollars without a graphics card,, so all up about 1.7 or 1.8 with the 8800gtx
any ideas where i should start for a psu, cause the case comes with the psu. i also, though that radeon hd 2900 xtx was better :|and thankf for the links shack
- Much less powerful E4300? That 2MB of L2 cache doesn't do much, unless you're doing some heavy encoding (in which case you should be using a quad core). Secondly, the E4300 is highly overclockable because of its low FSB speed and high multiplier. Go for the E4300.- Try and go for P35 motherboard. mwave.com.au have a got a bunch of cheap P35 mobos. Like these:

- ASUS for DVD drives? Nah, try and go for a Pioneer one.- That LCD is awesome, ignore what the above posters have said.- You can get better PSUs at that price:

The 2900 XT isn't better than the 8800GTX, but it is better (theoretically) than the 8800GTS. ATi just needs to get some better drivers out.
is the 2900xtx better than the gtx?
is the 2900xtx better than the gtx?
There is no XTX.ATi will probably release an XTX model once it gets the node down to 55nm.

(i also see that you have the mobo im planing to get ;) )alsomy mobo has 2xPCI-E x16 slots (i think) so the gpu will take up 2 spaces therefore disabling the 2nd slot (am i right?). im also nota big fan of overclocking....last thing: what are the pros and cons of the P35 and the GA-965P-S3 (V3.3)?
Yikes, Aussies are getting ripped off when it comes to pricing.

this is all rrp from the manufacturers
