Big big waste of money, you don't need memory faster than DDR2-667 unless you are overclocking or use a FSB greater than 1333.

Micron memory is good stuff, Crucial FTW. 4X1024MB DDR2-800 Crucial RAM in the next computer coming up... only got a few pieces ATM.

Do you plan to overclock? They're only good if you need to overclock.P.S. I'd rather use SuperTalent or OCZ than Crucial (IMO).

Crucial is just the face of Micron, meaning Crucial gets the pick of the best ICs.OCZ doesn't even use D9's anymore, they just use them during the intial launch of a new line and switches to cheaper/worse ICs later.
SuperTalent also recently switched from D9 to cheaper/worse ICs.
Geil Ultra is one of the best memory for overclocking with corsair dominators but more more cheeper
