I have a thermal take case, and I got everything else put in with the toolless clips. But there was an extra 4 usb slot thing that when I put in and snap in. If I try to plug a usb device into it, it'll basically just move along with what i'm trying to plug in. I can't just take the toolless thing off since then i'd have to redo everything.I was wondering, is there like some tape I can use to keep it pressed against the inside of the case that wouldn't mess up my computer? Or do I just not use it.An odd question about inside the compute ...
Some cases will still have holes for mounting screws under the plastic devices, and there may be a way to remove the toolless clamps without destroying them, to get at the screw holes. Or, Thermaltake may have slipped up and enclosed the wrong bay add-in for your particular case. If it has a model number ID on it (the USB panel), send an email to Thermaltake's quality control/ customer support folks and find out if there was a different one that belonged with your particular case. Well I know you can take them off but the only thing was it looked like if you took one part off that the rest of it had to go. And I already have my sound card and video card fit into it. So I just was wondering if it was possible to use some tape or something to keep it pushed against the inside if I couldn't get a screw on it.
