help with windows vista

used to have my system dual booted with xp professional and vista ultimate. recently reinstalled using only vista but the operating system selection screenstill comes during booting and still offers xp as a choice. not really a problem but it is inconvenient. so my question is how to i get it so that screen tono longer comes up during booting?
