what fans do i need?

ok, well i have recently got a new pc in whcih i have overclocked a few bits here and there, i'm just tryin to find out if the temps are normal cause to me, it seems they are above average, by gpu temps go up to 85 degrees celcius on full load, according to nvidia monitorand according to speedfan, temp1is 58 degrees, temp 2 is 28. temp 3 is -1, core 0 is 33 and core 1 is 34, all degrees celcius, are these temps too high???also, i dont really know anything about fans,, ie, how to install them, or what fans i specifically need,\if anyone can help me in this department it would be greatly appreciatedwhat fans do i need?
any 1?what fans do i need?
Seeing as I dont know where those temp readings are coming from I dont know what to suggest.. The core temps are very good (if they are correct)The gpu temp isnt amazing but I dont think its dangerous. What case/fans do you currently have?
my case is a numan case, just a generic one i presume,, and as far as fans, i can see one fan, directly underneath the psu, but its not running???
Ive never even heard of that lolCan you get a picture of it? Or describe what spaces are availabe for fans?I'd say you will need at least one intake and one exhaust, to keep air flowing smoothly.
wow you definantly want about 2+ fans in there. One intake in the front or side panel, and one exhaust in the back.
well basically the case is about two handspands tall,, abd roughly two and a bit handspands deep,,i have actually never noticed this before but there is a fan inside but its not working>??any idea how i can turn that fan on?? its screed to the back of the case and just below the psu,, there is a thin red wire which connects to another thin white wire leadin somewhere which i cannot see,, any idea how i can turn that fan on?
If the fan is connected to power it should be running, unless it only turns on above a certain temperature. Ideally I need to know what case you have so I know where you could fit a fan.Do you have a fan attached to the CPU heatsink? (just checking)
lol yeah,, about the fan which doesnt turn on,, it doesnt even look like its got a motor,, its basically just a black plastic frame with a 7 blade fan,,how would i turn this on?? in bios?
It really should turn itself on unless it has no power..
hmm, well it is connected to something,, lol,, would the fact that my case is open be a reason why the fan isnt working?? i dont see how but i cant think of another reason
http://www.digitalcameras.com.au/product.asp?productid=164816kinda looks like that case, also i think i may be able to turn the fan on thru the fron lcd display but my problem is the tower didnt come with a manual and i dont know what the buttons or icons on the lcd even mean
I dont think having the case open will affect it...I suppose you could just fiddle with display until something happens..
damn, i am confused, there are 4 buttons, reset, mode select and set,,, i have tried all combinations along with tryin to work out the symbols on the led screen,, no luck,, i did manage to get the fan runnin for a short burst, but that was by fluke, i'll ring up the shop tommorrow its 3 am in australia atm lol,, i should get some sleep
