E4300 + 8800GTS = bottleneck?

Would the 8800 (320mb version to be exact) be bottlenecked by the E4300 at all? Would it really be noticible if it would be?E4300 + 8800GTS = bottleneck?
I think it might bottleneck a tad bit. but why not just got for the E6600 or E6420?E4300 + 8800GTS = bottleneck?
I think it might bottleneck a tad bit. but why not just got for the E6600 or E6420?
Because I'd be saving around $100. I'm trying to keep the cost down. :P
For me personally id rather have the stronger components in the first place so I could not be bogged down later. I think the CPU should always come a little before the GPU.
Nah, it'll be fine. There is always a slowest component no matter what you do...
The E4300 is a great overclocker also. I've overclocked mine to E6600 levels without a hitch.
For me personally id rather have the stronger components in the first place so I could not be bogged down later. I think the CPU should always come a little before the GPU.
for gaming? games are far more gpu dependant so why have a stronger cpu than gpu?
OCing is your friend.
It won't be so bad. Today's games eat up memory buffers and require GPU processing like mad. The 8800 is your friend. Then, there's always OCing.
shoudl be fine. Yes I get better fps with my E6240 over my X2 4400, but its not a bottleneck. You can always learn to OC. I say x2 4400, cause the E4300 and it competed
maybe a little but like everyone said its a great overclocker and you should hit 3ghz easy with decent cooling
9mm i thought you had an athlon x2 6000+
9mm i thought you had an athlon x2 6000+
No that was me.
9mm i thought you had an athlon x2 6000+
I was getting it and then I got this e6420 for $75cdn. I had to be an idiot to pass that up. I acutally had a E6600 for $100, but sold it to a friend for $175 and went back and got the E6420.

I am only going to have it for a short time. my mom claimed it already and I think Imma get a Q6600 when its released at price cuts. Thats another deal too good to pass up. That and Im trying to Step Up to the 8800Ultra if I can get it in by time to eVGA.

My mom needs another PC. I already built her a nice am2 setup with a 5200+ in it and 2x1gb. Then shes got my old Athlon XP 2800+ too now and she got a laptop too.
heh.. crazy mom 9mm.ontopic:well, E4300 is no bad. But, don't save on processor and mobo if you are not only a gamer. Cause those are vital components of your computer
