which one should I go with?also can u post some links of benchmarks?PowerColor X1950XT .vs. eVGA E-GeForce 7 ...
The 1950XT out performs the 7950GT, but they are both quite close... IMO, I'd go for the one that costs less as they are similar cards and while the 1950XT does outperform the 7950, as i said, it isn't by much. If you choose the eVGA, you would also have the step-up program which allows you to upgrade your card by only paying the difference between the two cardsPowerColor X1950XT .vs. eVGA E-GeForce 7 ...
What resolution you playing at?
1600x1200
Go for the X1950XT then.
i have the powercolor model with the huge cooler on it and it is one of the best cards i have ever owned
I have the X1950XT also and its really good. But i'm thinking to upgrade to a 8800GTS.
get x1950XT but i'd still highly recommend you 8800GTS with 320mb

honestly, the difference ranges from not much to a mild slaughter, depending on the game. it felt like shader-heavy games went more to the 1950.. so UE3 stuff like R6Vegas and Oblivion went pretty far in the favor of the x1950.
that said, i also just did the 1950->8800 jump and i hate to say it's a nice difference at 16x12 :(
Get the X1950 XT if you're determined to stay on XP through to 2008. By the end of this year, there'll be better DX10 cards (possible ones with DX10.1), DX10 GAMES and better cards at lower prices.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102067 - X1950 XT for $150 after $30 mail in rebate!
